The 'Blackthorn' fabric is inspired by William Morris's 1892 Art Nouveau pattern featuring hawthorn, daisies, tulips and foliage.  The placement of the plants are symmetrical and form a damask style pattern. Using the plant and flower pattern in symmetry like this is a hallmark of William Morris's design. This version was released by House of Hackney.
