Ula is based on Shanan Campanaro’s paintings inspired by time spent beside the pools at Le Petit Ermitage in Los Angeles and her parents’ San Diego home. A study of the kaleidoscopic effect of water, the pattern references the distortions and refractions of pool tiles viewed through water.
